Recap: Bowie Bulldogs vs. McNeil Mavericks
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Bowie Bulldogs, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell just short of McNeil by a score of 17-14. Bowie's defeat continues a unfortunate trend for the team, making it three in a row.
McNeil found their leader in underclassman Jadon Sultz, who threw for 207 yards and two touchdowns.
Bowie's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for McNeil, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.
Bowie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. McNeil will take on Steele at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Steele will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
