Baseball Recap: Todd County Central Takes a Loss

Todd County Central fell victim to Edmonson County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.

Noah Rager was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

Todd County Central has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season. As for Edmonson County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-12-1.
