Basketball Recap: Central Lake Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pellston last Tuesday, Central Lake came back down to earth. The Central Lake Trojans fell 60-50 to the Mancelona Ironmen on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ironmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 80-51 back in January.

Central Lake's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Mancelona, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Central Lake and Mancelona will both be playing Inland Lakes the next time they take the court. Central Lake will host Inland Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Mancelona will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
