Soccer Recap: Brewer Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mae Jemison two weeks ago, Brewer came back down to earth. The Patriots lost 5-1 to the West Morgan Rebels on Monday. Brewer haven't had much luck with West Morgan recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Brewer's goal came courtesy of Annabel Saare, who's now up to four this season.

Brewer now has a losing record of 5-6. As for West Morgan, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Brewer wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Lee on the 3rd. As for West Morgan, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-2 victory against Lawrence County on the 1st.
