Duncan's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Fort Thomas Apaches by a score of 9-5. The win continues a trend for the Wildkats in their matchups with the Apaches: they've now won three in a row.

Reymia Contreras spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five runs (all of which were unearned) on six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Shaylynn Rhoton was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Sierra Chamberlin, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Duncan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .517. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in six consecutive matchups.

Duncan's record is now 13-6. As for Fort Thomas, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-13.

As of now, neither Duncan nor the Apaches have any future games scheduled.
