Volleyball Preview: Bear River Bruins vs. Colusa RedHawks        
        
		
             The Bear River Bruins will welcome the Colusa RedHawks  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Bear River will be looking to keep their 26-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive.
 Bear River is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Tuesday. They came out on top against Skyline by a score of  3-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).
 While Bear River won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12,  25-22.
 Meanwhile,  everything went Colusa's way against Bret Harte on Tuesday as Colusa made off with  a  3-0 victory.
 Colusa was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21,  25-15.
 Colusa had a senior duo take command as  Abril Guzman  had 16  digs and  Olivia Huskey  had six  digs and three  aces. Guzman is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 12 or more in the last five games she's  played.
 They weren't the only good server: Colusa  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 13 consecutive  games.
 Bear River has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 17 of their last 18 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 33-4 record  this season. As for Colusa, their record now sits at 23-12.
 Bear River took their  win against Colusa  in their previous matchup  back in August of 2021 by a conclusive  3-0. Will Bear River repeat their success,  or does  Colusa have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
