It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Curry can now relate to. They fell 7-3 to the Alexandria Valley Cubs on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Curry saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ambrey Taylor, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Curry's defeat dropped their record down to 50-4. As for Alexandria, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 43-10-3 record this season.

Curry didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-4 win against West Blocton on the 14th. As for Alexandria, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Orange Beach on the 14th.
