Softball Recap: Temple Christian Comes Up Short

Temple Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Trinity Christian, falling 12-2. The match marked Temple Christian's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Temple Christian saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Briley Esskew, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Temple Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Trinity Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coincidentally, Temple Christian and Trinity Christian will both be playing Lubbock Christian the next time they take the field. Trinity Christian will head out to face Lubbock Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Temple Christian will host them at 5:00 p.m. on the 11th.
