Basketball Recap: Skipstone Academy Comes Up Short

Skipstone Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 93-21 loss at the hands of the Creekside Christian Academy Cougars. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-14.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Micah Bunn, who posted six points.

Skipstone Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Creekside Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Skipstone Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Trinity Christian School of Griffin at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2026. Creekside Christian Academy and Eagle's Landing will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
