Mountain House's got stronger as the match went on, holding Chavez to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-13, 25-8.

Mountain House's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Chavez, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Mountain House will square off against East Union at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chavez, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Edison on the 3rd.
