Volleyball Recap: Leon Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Leon challenged Burton on Tuesday. The Cougars fell 3-1 to the Panthers. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 15-25, 25-23.

Leon's defeat dropped their record down to 26-8. As for Burton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-9 record this season.

Leon will host Frankston at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
