Baseball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the East Newton Patriots.

Skyline saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brigham Willis, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Skyline now has a losing record of 13-14. As for East Newton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-12-2.

Coincidentally, Skyline and East Newton will both be playing Stockton the next time they take the field. The Patriots will head out to face the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
