Soccer Game Preview: Dodge County vs. Bleckley County

The Dodge County Indians are taking a road trip to challenge the Bleckley County Royals at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Dodge County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against East Laurens on Friday. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Bleckley County brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They put the hurt on Central with a sharp 4-0 victory on Thursday. Bleckley County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Central with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bri Harrell (2), Anniston Howell, and McKenzie Perkins.

Bleckley County's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Dodge County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Dodge County skirted past Bleckley County 2-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
