It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Amador Valley had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They skirted past the Oak Ridge Trojans 13-11. The win was familiar territory for Amador Valley who now have seven in a row.
Taylor Oxe and Mai Falcone did most of the damage at the plate: Oxe went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Falcone went 2-for-5 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI. Lauren Tran was another key contributor, scoring three runs while going 3-for-5.
On Oak Ridge's side, Emery Glaser was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and a stolen base. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Paratore, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
