Football Game Preview: Lexington Tigers vs. South Gibson Hornets + How To Watch

The Lexington Tigers will face off against the South Gibson Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lexington is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

On Friday, Lexington earned a 28-20 victory over Jackson South Side.

The critical scores for Lexington came from Ross Wilson, Elye Pearson, and Levi Wilkinson.

Meanwhile, while South Gibson put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Dyer County. The Hornets blew past the Choctaws, posting a 35-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won three contests by 35 points or more so far this season.

The victory got South Gibson back to even at 3-3. As for Lexington, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Things could have been worse for Lexington, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 17-0 loss to South Gibson in their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
