Volleyball Recap: Medina Valley Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Medina Valley duked it out with Goliad on Thursday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Tigers.

Liv Halbeisen paced Medina Valley's offense, picking up three kills. Halbeisen got some help from Alana Smith and her four assists. Addison F Friesenhahn controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Medina Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-6. As for Goliad, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Medina Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against South San Antonio on the 22nd. As for Goliad, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Victoria East on the 22nd.
