Genoa Christian Academy skates past St. Peter's with ease

Recap: Genoa Christian Academy vs. St. Peter's Spartans
Genoa Christian Academy won the last time they faced the St. Peter's Spartans, and things went their way on Saturday too. Genoa Christian Academy took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 50-20 win over St. Peter's. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-6.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Genoa Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cody Griffey, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Lee, who scored 12 points.
Genoa Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for St. Peter's, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Genoa Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Granville Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Granville Christian Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. St. Peter's will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mansfield Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd.
