Basketball Game Preview: Robertson County Black Devils vs. Pendleton County Wildcats

Robertson County is 1-9 against Pendleton County since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Black Devils will challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Robertson County has given up an average of 56.4 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Robertson County took a blow against Nicholas County, falling 76-13. While losing is never fun, the Black Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 255th, while the Bluejackets are ranked 79th).

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Pendleton County against Harrison County on Friday as the team secured a 59-31 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Pendleton County has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Robertson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Robertson County was dealt a bruising 81-26 loss at the hands of Pendleton County when the teams last played on January 8th. Can the Black Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
