Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Christian Comes Up Short at Home Against Ballard Christian

Lafayette Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Ballard Christian Eagle on Monday. The Cougars have struggled against the Eagle recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

While Lafayette Christian ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 25-27, 25-18.

Coming up, Lafayette Christian will face off against Holy Ground Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ballard Christian will be paying especially close attention to the Cougars' matchup: after the Cougars face off against CrossPointe Christian Academy, they'll take on Ballard Christian again at 5:30 p.m. on the 19th.
