Football Game Preview: North Hollywood Huskies vs. Grant Lancers + Official Tickets

The North Hollywood Huskies will take on the Grant Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Hollywood will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Friday, North Hollywood strolled past Poly with points to spare, taking the game 32-14.

North Hollywood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was CHRIS RENTERIA, who rushed for 68 yards and two scores. The team also got some help courtesy of BRANDON DEL TORO, who rushed for 84 yards and one touchdown.

North Hollywood's run defense was locked in: Poly could only muster 3.3 yards per carry. While two picked up at least eight total tackles, RENTERIA stood above the rest. He rushed for 68 yards and a pair of TDs. North Hollywood didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.6.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 48 points the game before, Grant was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against Chavez, falling 30-8.

North Hollywood now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Grant, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Everything went North Hollywood's way against Grant when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as North Hollywood made off with a 33-7 victory. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lancers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
