Soccer Recap: Deer Valley Comes Up Short

Deer Valley lost against Antioch back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Deer Valley Wolverines took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Antioch Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Wolverines have lost by exactly two goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Fahad Habibi, who's now up to eight this season.

Deer Valley is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for Antioch, their record now sits at 2-6-3.

Deer Valley will challenge Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Antioch, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Antioch duke it out with the Liberty at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
