While Southside put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Trumann. The Southerners blew past the Wildcats 9-0. The Southerners haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Devin Hightower made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Hightower was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cameron Foree, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Zeb Anderson, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

The win got Southside back to even at 2-2. As for Trumann, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Southside will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
