Basketball Game Preview: Louisburg Wildcats vs. Paola Panthers

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats face off against the Panthers on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Louisburg and four for Paola.

Last Wednesday, Louisburg didn't have quite enough to beat Eudora and fell 46-44. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 219th in Kansas, while the Cardinals are ranked 98th in Kansas).

Meanwhile, Paola came up short against Bonner Springs on Wednesday and fell 68-58.

Paola's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Louisburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.
