Victor was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over Brockport. Considering Victor has won five games by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Izzy Law looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
At the plate, Ryleigh Fontana was incredible, going 3-for-5 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Harris, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Victor kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Victor now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Brockport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.
Coming up, Victor will challenge Churchville-Chili at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brockport, they will take on Canandaigua Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Braves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.9 runs per game on average), something the Blue Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of.
