Basketball Game Preview: Broken Bow Indians vs. St. Patrick's Irish

The Broken Bow Indians will head out on the road to face off against the St. Patrick's Irish at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Broken Bow is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.8 points per game this season.

Broken Bow lost 63-41 to Arlington on Saturday. The match marked the Indians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The losing side was boosted by Dominic Nowak, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 13 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zachary Jackson, who posted six points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, St. Patrick's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 64-48 to Cozad.

St. Patrick's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Broken Bow, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Broken Bow came up short against St. Patrick's in their previous matchup back in December of 2020, falling 36-32. Can Broken Bow avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
