Basketball Recap: Princess Anne Triumphs

On Saturday, the Princess Anne Cavaliers didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Nansemond River Warriors, but they still walked away with a 63-59 victory.

Princess Anne has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Nansemond River, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3.

The future could be bright for both Princess Anne and Nansemond River: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Princess Anne will try to hand Bayside their fifth-straight loss when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nansemond River will look to extend Great Bridge's six-game losing streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
