            Baseball Recap: Pasco Pirates vs. Hudson Cobras        
        
		
        
        
            It's playoff time, and Pasco had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Hudson Cobras by a score of  10-5  on Wednesday. The  win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Cobras: they've now won nine in a row.

 Carson Wheatley made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and two  runs. Those  two  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Yeceil 'JJ' Lisojo, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2. What's more,  he posted two  RBI, the most he's  had since back in March.
Pasco's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Hudson, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15.
 Coming up, Pasco will square off against Weeki Wachee at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Pirates 2.2, the Hornets 3.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Hudson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
