Volleyball Recap: Jacksonville Christian Academy Starts Season with Victory at Home

Jacksonville Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They put the hurt on the Epiphany Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Conquerors not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 8, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Jacksonville Christian Academy never let Epiphany on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-17, 25-23.

Anna Hodges went supernova, hitting 75% for six kills and 111 digs. That's the most kills she has posted since back in October of 2024. Selma Scott was another key player, getting seven kills, four digs, and two aces.

Looking ahead, Jacksonville Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. As for Epiphany, they will head out to take on Cape Fear Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
