It was a good run, but Wiseburn- Da Vinci unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Non Varsity Tournament Opponent by a score of 1-0. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Non Varsity Tournament Opponent earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 19 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-19.

Andre Pimienta paced Wiseburn- Da Vinci's offense, picking up six kills. Pimienta got some help from Dylan Soriano and his ten assists. Finally, Miles Walker kept Wiseburn- Da Vinci's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12.

Looking ahead, Wiseburn- Da Vinci will welcome West at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Non Varsity Tournament Opponent, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Pine Hills Adventist at 6:00 p.m. on April 9.
