Baseball Recap: Chariton Comes Up Short

Chariton managed to slip by Knoxville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chargers lost 11-0 to the Panthers on Saturday. The shutout was out of character for the Chargers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in May.

This is the second loss in a row for Chariton and nudges their season record down to 9-8. As for Knoxville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Knoxville beat Chariton by a score of 4-2 later that day.
