Volleyball Recap: Birchwood Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Birchwood Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the King Cove T-Jacks and Rookies.

Birchwood Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-21, 25-13, 25-20.

Birchwood Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Birchwood Christian and Ninilchik will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for King Cove, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sand Point at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
