Softball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Notre Dame Prep

Notre Dame Prep had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Troy Colts a 14-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-2 on Monday.

Emersyn Rix-Renne was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Rix-Renne was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.
