Softball Recap: North Central Thunderbirds vs. Parke Heritage Wolves

In what's become a running theme this season, North Central gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Parke Heritage Wolves as the North Central Thunderbirds made off with a 12-6 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for North Central.

Mykenzie Wence made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits. Wence was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and a double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Shelby Seay, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Emmy Woodruff, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
