Lincoln and Lewis Central are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Lynx are taking a road trip to square off against the Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Lincoln is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Jefferson on Tuesday. The Lynx fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 1-0.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Lewis Central and St. Albert, and Lewis Central kept the tradition alive. The Titans blew past the Falcons 5-1 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Lewis Central, who have now won nine matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-2. As for Lewis Central, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.

Lincoln came out on top in a nail-biter against Lewis Central in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lynx since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
