Baseball Recap: Williams Valley Vikings vs. Shamokin Area Indians

Williams Valley was the 5-2 winner over Shamokin Area when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Williams Valley Vikings lost 11-1 to the Shamokin Area Indians on Wednesday. Williams Valley just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.

Williams Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Adams, who went 2-for-2 with a double.

On Shamokin Area's side, Ty Neary made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Neary was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.
