Football Game Recap: Columbia vs. Bear Grass Charter

After constant struggles on the road, Bear Grass Charter have finally found some success away from home. They made easy work of Columbia on Friday and carried off a 46-18 victory. Bear Grass Charter were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Bear Grass Charter's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 22 points in the first half. Columbia countered with 12 points, leaving the score at 22-12 going into the half. The offense for Bear Grass Charter continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 24 points to put the game away.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Bear Grass Charter will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Columbia in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Columbia are limping into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for they, they will face off against Bear Grass Charter. Columbia took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Bear Grass Charter's good fortune.
