Meanwhile, Barnwell never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Bridges Prep with a sharp 15-0 win. Considering the Warhorses have won three matches by more than 14 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Barnwell got a massive performance out of Abigail Corley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Kendall O'Berry was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Barnwell's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Saluda, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Saluda has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Barnwell struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
