 The Northeastern Bobcats will head out on the road to  square off against  the West York Area Bulldogs at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Given that  the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  contest.
 Northeastern will head into Wednesday's  match out to bounce back: they came back down to earth  on Wednesday after soaring to a seven-point game in their last game. They fell just short of Susquehannock by a score of  8-6.
 Meanwhile, West York Area suffered a  rough 8-2 defeat at the hands of Littlestown  on Wednesday. West York Area has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 West York Area saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Leah Harlacher, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Northeastern's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for West York Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
 Northeastern came out on top in a nail-biter against West York Area  when the teams last played  back in March of 2023, sneaking past  8-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northeastern since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
