Baseball Recap: Elizabethtown Gets the Win

Elizabethtown took a 15-run defeat the last time they faced off against St. Xavier, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Tigers 6-5 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Elizabethtown's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for St. Xavier, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-8.

Coming up, Elizabethtown will head out to take on John Hardin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Xavier, they will square off against Bullitt East at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
