Volleyball Recap: Chelsea Takes a Loss

Chelsea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Malden Golden Tornados. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Tornados this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in April.

Chelsea's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Malden, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chelsea will challenge rival Revere at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Malden is set to square off against their familiar foe Lynn Classical at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
