Softball Recap: Jeffersontown Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Jeffersontown's offense. They came up short against Bullitt East on Wednesday, falling 16-0. Jeffersontown hasn't had much luck with Bullitt East recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Jeffersontown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Bullitt East, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jeffersontown will head out to challenge Southern at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bullitt East, they will venture away from home to take on Assumption at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
