Toledo's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Central Linn Cobras with a sharp 38-13 victory. The win continues a trend for the Boomers in their matchups with the Cobras: they've now won eight in a row.

Evan Putnam went supernova, rushing for 44 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also throwing for 158 yards and one TD on only 12 passes. Another player making a difference was Deshawn Pfaffle, who picked up 109 receiving yards and one score.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Central Linn, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
