Volleyball Recap: Chantilly Takes a Loss

Chantilly came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Oakton Cougars. The Chargers have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Chantilly was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Oakton work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 28-26.

Chantilly now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Oakton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Chantilly will face off against rival James Madison at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Oakton is set to challenge their familiar foe South Lakes at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
