Bennett extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Zakai Smullen. The Bennett Clippers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Pocomoke Warriors 79-76 thanks in part to Smullen, who dropped a double-double with 33 points and 13 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Benjamin Singletary, who posted six points and four steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

Pocomoke's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of DESHOUR PRITCHETT, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 15 boards, and JAMIR ROBERTS, who put up 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. With that strong performance, PRITCHETT is now averaging an impressive 8.4 boards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of JAYDEN MASON, who earned nine points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Bennett's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Pocomoke, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Bennett wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 78-61 victory against Crisfield on the 4th. As for Pocomoke, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-62 loss against Mardela on the 4th.
