Softball Recap: Summerville Comes Up Short

Summerville fell victim to Calaveras and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Red Hawks. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Bears' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Summerville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Calaveras, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Looking ahead, Calaveras will be taking part in a tournament against Tracy at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Summerville will be paying especially close attention to the Red Hawks' match: after the Red Hawks face off against the Bulldogs, they'll take on Summerville again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
