Baseball Recap: Beaver Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Beaver can now relate to. They fell 10-7 to the American Leadership Academy Eagles on Friday. The Beavers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 16-3.

Raider Blomquist and Davis Carter did some serious damage despite the final result: Blomquist went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Carter went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Bridger Blackner, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Beaver and nudges their season record down to 23-4. As for American Leadership Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 19 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Beaver nor American Leadership Academy have any future games scheduled.
