Volleyball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Takes a Loss

Cornerstone Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Grace Christian Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Cornerstone Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Grace Christian work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-16, 25-18.

Cornerstone Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Grace Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4.

Looking ahead, Cornerstone Christian will challenge Appalachian Christian School at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Grace Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Fresta Valley Christian at 5:00 p.m.
