Highland Springs took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Colonial Heights Colonials. The Springers were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Colonials, so the Springers were just returning the favor.

Highland Springs never let Colonial Heights on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-19.

Highland Springs has already played their next matchup (against John Marshall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Colonial Heights, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on King William at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
