McKinley Tech faced Bell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Trainers blew past the Griffins 12-5. The Trainers haven't had any issues with the Griffins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Jeydon Zambrano, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Kaleneke, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

McKinley Tech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

McKinley Tech's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Bell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
