Baseball Recap: West Genesee's Run of 13 Straight Victories Now Over

West Genesee and Fox Lane squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but West Genesee had to settle for second. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Foxes. The match marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

West Genesee moved to 20-2 with that defeat, which also ended their 13-game winning streak. As for Fox Lane, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

West Genesee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fox Lane, they have already played their next contest, a 6-5 loss against Horseheads on the 14th.
